In autumn 2023, we had the privilege of taking over the asset management for two apartment buildings in Berlin for the owner of a property portfolio. One of the properties is located in Berlin-Neukölln, near the idyllic Körnerpark – a location that combines quality of life and urban charm.
Our mandate includes the coordination and implementation of comprehensive modernisation measures to secure and further enhance the substance and attractiveness of the existing properties. The current focus is on modernising the heating system to increase efficiency and sustainability, as well as on renovating the balconies to ensure safety and living comfort. In addition, the façade will be repaired and repainted to enhance the external appearance of the property. At the same time, vacant apartments will be extensively renovated and then re-let, always with a clear view of the needs of future residents.
We are particularly pleased with our client’s willingness to invest in measures that do not immediately lead to rent increases. This long-term perspective underscores the priority given to value preservation and sustainable management. By improving the quality of life, not only do the residents benefit, but the value of the property is also secured in the long term.
