Berlin-based Moayedi Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH has just acquired a majority stake in a real estate company that owns four office properties in Potsdam. The portfolio was built up by Moayedi Beteiligungsgesellschaft. The seller of the shares is a German family office, which is one of Moayedi’s long-standing investment partners.
The four properties have a total of around 13,000 m² of office space. Three of the properties are located in Babelsberg in the immediate vicinity of the renowned Babelsberg Film Studio. The fourth property is located in Jägervorstadt in the listed building of the former Werner-Alfred-Bad, which is now also home to a health center. All four office spaces are leased on a long-term basis. To upgrade the properties and create further optimized conditions for tenants, CEO Sascha Moayedi is planning a series of measures, including in the ESG area. For example, the Babelsberg properties are to be connected to the district heating network and photovoltaic systems or green areas are planned for flat roofs. Moayedi Investments GmbH will be responsible for the asset management of the properties.

We see many opportunities to expand our portfolio in Potsdam and are confident about the future.”
