Sascha Moayedi, formerly Senior Consultant Investment at Engel & Völkers Commercial Berlin until the end of 2022, has founded a new company, Moayedi Investments GmbH. Six years after launching Moayedi Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH, the 50-year-old Berlin real estate professional is concentrating on developing and brokering exclusive investment properties in Berlin, Potsdam, and the surrounding area with his new boutique investment firm. Relying on his proven network of premium partners, he is also expanding his radius of action to include potential property acquisitions in other major cities in eastern Germany, including Dresden, Leipzig, and Magdeburg.
With his new firm, Moayedi, who sold more than 400 properties for over €2 billion in his 19 years at Engel & Völkers Commercial Berlin, also wants to help affluent private clients and family offices leverage value creation potential through the purchase and sale of real estate. For this purpose, the real estate service provider draws on both numerous exclusive access points to the real estate market and a wealth of experience in generating increases in value, for example through refurbishments, residential privatisations, or redensification. Co-investments with private capital providers, with whom he seeks long-term cooperation, round off the portfolio of services offered by Moayedi Investments GmbH.
Parallel to his work for Engel & Völkers Commercial Berlin, the Berlin-born entrepreneur had already launched his own company, Moayedi Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH, at the end of 2016. Together with partners, he bought and optimised 25 residential and commercial properties in Berlin, Potsdam, and other locations in Brandenburg. Some of the properties have already been resold.
“I am looking forward to making sophisticated real estate investments even more intensively in the future, and with several highly qualified partners,” says Sascha Moayedi on the occasion of the founding of Moayedi Investments GmbH. “We have been intensifying our cooperation more and more in the past years, which means that the time was now ripe to focus on it with a separate company. With ample know-how, we will make exclusive acquisitions focusing on both residential and commercial properties as well as office properties.”
Moayedi also invests in proptechs and start-ups in the real estate sector. He remains closely connected to Engel & Völkers Commercial by serving as a co-licensed partner of the brokerage firm at its Magdeburg location.
During his time at Engel & Völkers Commercial Berlin, Moayedi developed a network of major clients, including listed public companies and insurance companies, wealthy private clients, and family offices from Germany and abroad. After having primarily marketed residential and commercial properties in the beginning, he later also gained extensive expertise in the business of real estate portfolios, office buildings and land developments.
