Running for a Good Cause: Engagement That Moves
Once again this year, Björn Schulz was at the starting line of the Berlin Marathon – with the same passion that has driven him for many years. As in the past, he combined athletic ambition with social commitment, running for the Björn Schulz Foundation, which provides comfort and support to seriously ill children and their families in hospices.
Despite a knee injury, he took on the challenge and completed the course with impressive willpower. Every kilometer was a symbol of hope and solidarity. Together with numerous supporters, over €22,000 in donations were collected this year. These funds go directly to the foundation and help to tangibly ease the daily lives of the affected families.
We also supported this initiative once again with a donation and would like to thank everyone who ran along, cheered, or donated.
A special thanks goes to Felix Kroos, who participated in the mini-MARATHON alongside Björn, running by the side of children who were unable to run themselves. This initiative impressively demonstrates how athletic passion, team spirit, and compassion can lead to real change.
