At our Potsdam location, the lease agreement with the anchor tenant has been secured for the long term and strategically expanded. Following the expansion of floor space six months ago, we have now taken the next logical step as part of our active asset management.

The existing lease has been extended by an additional five years. This strengthens the anchor tenant’s long-term commitment to the location and increases planning security for both parties.

In parallel with the contract renewal, the leased area was significantly expanded and more than doubled – from approx. 815 m² (2021) to over 2,100 m² today. This significant increase in square footage underscores both the positive development of the location and the growth of the tenant.

Active Asset Management as a Success Factor

The lease renewal and expansion are the result of structured and continuous dialogue with the tenant. Central measures included:

• Intensive coordination and structured contract negotiations
• Tailored build-outs to adapt to changing spatial requirements
• Provision of additional areas
• Ongoing, dialogue-oriented asset management

It is particularly noteworthy that the new agreements were concluded at improved terms. This sustainably strengthens the economic performance of the property.

With an eye toward the end of the year, strategic measures at the Potsdam location will continue to be consistently pushed forward.
